How To Use Hair serum with Proper Way

Hair serum is a hair care solution which makes the hair shine . It protects the hair from the damages done by overexposure to the sun and hair styling products. The effect of the serum application remains until the next wash. Hair serum forms a thin protective layer on the hair strands. It returns the moisture lost due to exposure to sun or heat generated from the hair styling gadgets. It is primarily used for dry and frizzy hair, which breaks easily, or hairs that have under gone excessive chemical treatments like perming, coloring.

How To Use Hair serum with Proper Way

1- Check the labels and compare the hair serums to find one that fits your hair needs.
There are different types of hair serum you can use depending on your hair type and preference. If you have thin hair, you may want to try a thickening serum.
Or if you have fine hair, there are also lightweight serums for people whose hair does not require as much moisture. If you style your hair often, there are hair serums that also protect against damage due to heat.

There are also specifically designed serums to enhance the curls in curly and wavy hair, those that add high gloss, and on the other side, there are hair serums used to create a more natural looking hairstyles.

You can find a range of hair serums at any department store.

2- This is an optional step. Some people find that adding serum to the ends of their hair before they wash helps to fight the frizzing and drying caused by the chemicals in shampoos.

To protect your hair while you wash, use more serum in your hair than normal.
Apply 3-4 squirts of serum to the midsection and especially the ends of your hair.
Wash and rinse your hair as normal, making sure to wash all of the soap out of your hair.

3- Another way to use serum requires that you apply the serum to soaking wet hair.
When you shower, it is a good idea to use a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner that are good for dry hair. Or if you have wavy or curly hair, you can buy anti-frizz shampoo and conditioner or shampoo and conditioner for curly/wavy hair hair.
If you are trying to create more natural waves, there are shampoos without cleaning agents that rough up the cuticle and create frizz.
If you are planning on only applying the serum to your styled hair, you can skip this step.

How To Avoid Hair Damage?

www.womenlovehealth.blogspot.in

We all loves our hair and we need to do extra care to avoid the damage of our hair. Hair damage has multiple potential causes, including diet, mineral deficiency, medications, severe stress or illness, pollution, and your genetics.

Up to one-third of the population suffer from hair loss, damage and of that third, thousands are women. There are no guarantees that you can prevent hair loss that is genetically programmed or hair loss caused by factors, not within your control. However, you can do the best by your hair to give it the greatest chance of staying in top condition and not leaving your head sooner than it needs to.

Avoid too Much Use Of Hair Dryers.

Heat weakens hair proteins. Constant heating and drying can lead to brittleness and fragility that can cause hair loss that would not have occurred otherwise. Natural drying is best for you hair, so aim to dry it naturally more often than drying it with heat.

If you do use heated tools, be careful, because continually burnt scalps can permanently damage hair follicles.

Avoid The Use Of Perms.

Perming refers to either chemical straightening or chemical curling, both of which can damage your hair. It works specifically by breaking the inner bonds of your hair and then reforming them in a different way to straighten or curl your hair. This weakens your hair, making it dull, dry and brittle.

Less Use Of Dyes And Chemicals.

Frequent use of hair colouring chemicals increases the chances of serious damage being done to your hair. Never colour your hair more often than every four to six weeks. When it comes to going grey, it's a lot kinder to your hair to let it turn grey than to dye it.

Do Not Bleach Your Hair.

Bleach is very hard chemical. Bleaching your hair removes your natural pigment when the cuticles are penetrated by chemicals. By doing this, you are changing the structure of your hair and making it more susceptible to damage. You are making it weaker, so bleaching coupled with blow drying and styling can really damage your hair.

Don’t Pull And Tie Your Hair Too Tight.

Some hairstyles that require tight pulling and elastics or clips can be a cause of hair loss if done on a daily basis.

For example, tight ponytails, tight braids, cornrows, and plaits can lead to significant hair loss when done daily. Winding hair tightly onto rollers, especially heated rollers, is also liable to cause more hair loss.

Do Hair Spa.

Hair spa is a hair treatment method to avoid hair damage. Hair Spa nourishes hairs and strengthens hair strands. You can do Hair spa at home.

Choose A Suitable Shampoo For Your Hair Type.

www.womenlovehealth.blogspot.in

Getting a good shampoo will really help you to have a healthy head of hair, so take some time to find that matches your hair type. Consider if you have fine, dry, greasy or normal hair and try a few different ones to find what works. If you have dandruff or colour your hair, get a shampoo that is specifically meant for this.

Protein-enhanced shampoos and conditioners that boost volume make hair smoother and thicker temporarily.

Use A Good Quality Hairbrush.

Hair can have a big impact on the condition of your hair. Go for a soft brush made from natural fibres, and don’t brush from the top down, but from the underside out. Be as gentle as you can and don’t pull too hard.

It’s best to avoid brushing your hair when it’s wet, use a comb instead.

Do Scalp Massage.

A scalp massage with a nourishing oil (such as coconut, rosemary, lavender, or almond oil) will increase the blood flow to the surface of the skin on your head and your hair follicles.

Rubbing and kneading your scalp warms the skin and boosts circulation so the cells in the follicles get plenty of nutrients which in turn maximise hair growth potential.

A scalp massage can also relax you which will help your overall body function.

Take A Healthy Balanced Diet.

Nutritional responses to preventing hair loss are simple common sense approaches to keeping you, your hair, and your scalp healthy. A healthy body is more likely to have healthy hair than an unhealthy one. It is possible that hair loss can be slowed by a healthy diet filled with vegetables and fruits.

There are some vitamins and minerals (listed in the following steps) that can be especially helpful in promoting healthy hair and thus preventing hair loss.

1. Consume plenty of iron.
2. Eat enough protein.
3. Consume Vitamin C.
4. Ensure you get enough Omega-3 fatty acids.

Know when to visit the doctor.

It's important to know when your hair loss could be a symptom of a more serious medical complaint, in which case you should see a doctor as soon as possible. Contact a doctor if you are losing hair in an unusual pattern, or rapidly at an early age, such as in your teen or twenties.

Other symptoms to look out for are:

1. Pain and itching with hair loss, or a red, scaly scalp.
2. You have bald spots on your beard or eyebrows.
3. If you are a woman and you are experiencing male pattern baldness or an abnormal menstrual cycle.
4. You have been gaining weight, suffering fatigue, muscle weakness, or intolerance to cold temperatures.

How To Make Your Teeth Strong

Healthy teeth makes a good personality. It is very important to take care of our teeth. Yellowish teeth makes a bad impresson. So its very important to make our teeth healthy and strong.
This article give information about how to make your teeth strong and healthy.

Smoking
Smoking is bad for your general health but did you know that smoking reduces the blood flow to your mouth, resulting in greater chances of developing periodontal disease and oral cancers. Not only that, if you are a smoker and have any type of surgery or dental treatment, smoking reduces the ability of revasularisation (healing) of bone and soft tissue. Plus don’t forget the bad breath, stinky clothes and yellow teeth.
Chewing Gum
If you watch television you know that chewing gum after meals produces saliva flow, but did you know that chewing gum can actually improve your alertness by 10% by improving blood flow to the brain according to a recent study in Japan. So besides neutralizing acids and cleaning your teeth, chewing gum improves motor skills.
Soften your toothbrush
You should never use a hard toothbrush. Hard toothbrushes cause abrasion to your enamel, which then exposes your dentine making your teeth appear more yellowish. Rinse your toothbrush with hot water before using it to soften the bristles.
Change your toothbrush
Changing your toothbrush is vital in keeping your oral hygiene in a good condition. Toothbrushes should be changed every 3 months due to the ineffectiveness after this. Also your mouth is full of bacteria, which transfers to your toothbrush after every use. And did you know that 80% of bacteria found in your mouth is not on your teeth? They are in the hard to reach places and soft tissues in your mouth such as the tongue cheeks and gums.
Use a straw
When drinking every dentist’s worst nightmare – soft drink or soda; use a straw. Using a straw will bypass the acid to your teeth. You still need to rinse your mouth with water after drinking these nasties, and if you are regular consumer you should use fluoride toothpaste and see your dentist for regular check-ups.
Limit snacks
If you eat 3 meals a day with no carbohydrates or sugar in between meals, then no need to read on. However, if you are like most of the population and cant resist a bit of snacking between meals then continue reading. The more snacks with sugar you have between meals (fruit, juice, sugared coffee, soft drinks etc.) the more holes you are likely to get. If you are a compulsive grazer it is important that you remember these 10 keys to keeping your teeth strong.

Nutrition

What you put in your mouth can affect the health of your teeth and gums. Choosing the right foods early in life can be especially beneficial throughout your whole life. Your mouth is full of germs and bacteria (plaque) that thrive on the starches and sugars produced that are found in the food you eat. When you don’t remove the plaque an acid is produced that attacks your enamel and eventually causes decay. Choosing foods that are low in sugar and starches will reduce the acids produced.

How To Keep Your Teeth White

White and shiney teeth are the main attratction of your face. Now a big qution is how to maintain it white. When your teeth is white your smile should also looking so beautifull.
l

Whitening treatments don't permanently whiten teeth. If you expose your teeth to foods and beverages that cause staining you may see the whiteness start to fade in as little as 1 month after treatment. Those who avoid foods and beverages that stain may be able to wait one year or longer before another whitening treatment or touch-up is needed.

Why do teeth get yellow?

To figure out how to whiten our teeth, we have to know why they get yellow in the first place. There are several factors that play a part, including genetics, what kind of food and drink you consume, and how well you practice oral hygiene. A tooth is made up of 4 tissues-enamel, which is the strong white covering that protects the tooth, dentin, which supports the enamel and is a hard yellow material that carries nerves, pulp, which is at the center of the tooth and contains blood and lymph vessels, and cementum, which covers the root of the tooth.

The enamel and dentin is what play the biggest role in color. Certain food and drinks will directly stain the enamel, yes, but over time the two biggest culprits are the nasty food and drink that actually break down the enamel, and weakening enamel as we age. As the enamel breaks down, it reveals the yellow dentin underneath.

Use these home remedy to make your teeth white its really very good for your teeth.

1: Banana

You will be after you hear about this home remedy! Applying a banana peel to achieve white teeth can be done by gently rubbing the inside of the peel on your teeth for about two minutes once or twice a day. Those awesome minerals that bananas are already known for, such as potassium, manganese and magnesium, are absorbed into your teeth and help keep them looking their best! The same results have also been linked to the inner layer of orange peels.

2: Strawberry:

For another fruity take on whiter teeth, you can try mashing up a strawberry and mixing it with a small amount of baking soda to create your own whitening toothpaste. The acids in the strawberry work to polish and whiten your teeth. Limit this remedy to about once a month.

3: Hydrogen peroxide

You likely have applied hydrogen peroxide to clean your small cuts or wounds, but did you know it can also help the brightness of your smile? Pouring a small amount on top of your normal toothpaste before brushing, or on a cotton swab and gently rubbing it on your teeth for a minute or two before brushing, can help brighten your smile within weeks!

4: Olivr oil

Another effective and safe method to getting your teeth to look their best is to apply olive oil. Use a clean cloth or cotton swab and apply to your teeth for two to three minutes before your regular teeth-brushing routine.

5: Baking soda and lemon juice

Baking Soda isn’t a shocker here. Sodium bicarbonate (its official name) is mildly abrasive; gently scrubbing away surface stains to return teeth to a whiter shade. It will also reduce the acidity of the lemon juice, which acts as a natural bleach.

Use

Mix several teaspoons of baking soda with enough fresh lemon juice (or water) to make a paste. Wipe your teeth and any extra saliva off of them with a paper towel. Put a good amount of paste onto your toothbrush and apply. Leave the paste on for 1 minute, then rinse, so as to avoid the acid effecting enamel. If you are using just water you can leave it on for up to 3 minutes.

6:  Strawberry, Salt and Baking soda

Strawberries are high in Vitamin C, which can help break-down plaque that is causing your teeth to look yellow. It also has an enzyme called malic acid, which may help to remove surface stains. The salt acts as an abrasive portion of the paste, physically scrubbing away stain-causing gunk, and the baking soda is an extra touch that you can choose to leave out if you’d prefer.

Use

Mash the berries into a pulp, and add a pinch of sea salt and ½ teaspoon of baking soda, if you’re using it. Wipe any extra saliva off your teeth with a paper towel, and then apply a generous portion of the mixture to a toothbrush and apply. Let the mixture sit for 5 minutes, then rinse. Do this nightly.

7: Coconut oil

I know this sounds absolutely mad (I thought it was crazy too when I first read about it) but rinsing your mouth with coconut oil (called ‘oil pulling’) is a unique, old, remedy that people swear by to help whiten teeth. It doesn’t sound like the most pleasant thing in the world, but I actually don’t mind the taste, and I think it does make a difference in the color of your teeth. It won’t make a difference by “bleaching” per say, but lauric acid in coconut oil can rid your teeth of bacteria found in plaque that can make them yellow. It is also supposed to promote gum health, and help keep your breath fresh.

Use

In the morning, before you brush your teeth, scoop out a tablespoon or a little less (depending on the size of your mouth) of coconut oil. You can either soften it, or just put it in your mouth (I usually do the latter, and just let it soften.) Push, swish, and “pull” the oil through and around your teeth for 10-15 minutes, then spit it out, rinse with water, and brush your teeth.

These simple tips can save the money for something else, feel better about yourself, and have a healthier mouth.

- Routine. Set up a routine using these remedies and stick to it, at all costs, to get the most out of them.

- It’s fairly common knowledge, and difficult in today’s world, but try to avoid dark drinks, such as coke and coffee that stain your teeth.

How To Keep Your Nails Healthy

Regular nail care results in healthy nails that you can be proud to take to work or out on the town. Your nail care plan can be simple and inexpensive. with cleaning and maintaining nails might actually put your normally strong nails at risk for yeast or bacterial infections. You won't need frequent manicures to maintain good-looking nails if you follow these simple tips.

Try Biotin

As long as you eat a healthy, varied diet, you don't need any dietary supplements to guarantee strong nails. But, people with weak nails may benefit from supplemental biotin, a B vitamin. "Biotin has been shown to be helpful for strengthening and growing our nails, it didn't luck into strong nails by birth, and she has had success strengthening them by taking biotin every day.

Enjoy Polish

Wearing nail polish isn't going to harm your healthy nails, although you probably should give your nails a break on the polish periodically. As part of your home manicures, make sure you choose acetone-free nail polish remover when you decide to begin that break. Wear gloves for better nail care when working with your hands, such as when you're gardening or housecleaning, to protect the polish and keep dirt out of your nails.

Moisturize Cuticles

Think of your cuticles like the protective caulking around a bathtub. If you cut them back too far or push them around too aggressively, you damage them. That, in turn, leaves your nail bed open to infection. As part of regular nail care to maintain healthy nails, the advises moisturizing cuticles and not even pushing them back or trimming them at all, even during a professional manicure. Be aware of the signs of infection, including redness, pain, swelling, and even pus in your cuticles and the nearby skin.

Keep Nails Trimmed

"The fashion trend is to have neat, more natural-looking, shorter nails and not the long talons of the past, Trimming nails regularly helps you to maintain healthy nails and helps to avoid snagging or breaking. How frequently you trim will depend on how fast your nails grow. Use a fine file to smooth out the edges of your nails. As part of your manicures, you can also lightly buff the surface of your nails, especially if you tend to get ridges.

  Clean With a Nail Brush

Many women risk infection with rigorous cleaning under the nails using long, pointy tools, both at home and during manicures. "Women themselves or the manicurist are trying so diligently to clean under the nail that they end up with a kind of a gap between the nail and the nail bed,"This kind of aggressive nail care is an open door to bacterial or fungal infections. Instead, scrub gently with an old-fashioned nail brush for healthy nails.

Wear Dish Gloves

Frequently immersing hands in hot, soapy water to wash dishes can weaken even strong nails, mostly because this process dries them out along with the rest of the skin on your hands. Protective nail care calls for wearing gloves to protect your hands while you scrub. Interestingly, swimmers who are usually immersed in cooler water do not seem to have the same kind of challenge to their strong nails.

Minimize Manicures

Keep manicures simple to preserve healthy nails. "Save a few dollars,"Go in, get your nail polish removed, have them shape your nails — not real brutally — get a fresh coat, and be done with it." Skip the acrylic nails, which ultimately could lead to more infections, and be aware that there is a small risk of skin cancer from the UV light that affixes solar nails. Wear sunscreen on your hands if you are going to be putting them under the light.

Take Infections Seriously

Smoothing ragged edges and wrapping a broken nail in an adhesive bandage are fine, but if you see signs of infection, check in with your doctor for the needed nail care. You'll probably recognize the signs of a bacterial infection (redness, swelling, and pain), but you might miss the early signs of a nail fungal infection, such as puffy, red, irritated skin around the nail bed. Fungal infections could improve with an over-the-counter antifungal treatment, but they sometimes require prescription medications — for optimal nail care, get medical attention when healthy nails are at risk.

The Facts About Fungus

These infections can settle in without your even realizing it. To be on the safe side, , you should periodically remove any polish and inspect your fingers and toes. "Fungus is contagious and can spread from one nail to another — and even from nails to skin," she explains. "These infections aren't dangerous, but they can be painful and unsightly." What to know:

Causes

Humid places are fungus favorites, which helps explain why sweaty shoes and socks make toes more susceptible than fingers. Fungal nail infections account for about 50 percent of all nail disorders. Untreated athlete's foot and nail injuries can also make you prone to infection.

Warning Signs

Your nail is thickening, yellowing, crumbling, or lifting from its bed (as if it's about to fall off).

Treatments

The bad news: "Since the infection occurs under the nail plate or in the nail bed, successful treatment will take several months or more, trying prescription oral medication (like Lamisil). For new or mild cases, a topical medication may help.

Prevention

Wash and dry your feet thoroughly. Keep your shoes on in public places. If your feet sweat a lot, change your socks often.
