Best Home Remedies To Protect Your Teeth From Cavities




Hi! everyone has some sort of tooth problem. Cavity is one of the reason of tooth decay. Tooth decay leads to cavity. Teeth cavities is the major problem. So how we protect our teeth from cavities. These problems are most often seen in children, teenagers and older adults.

Dental cacavities also referred to as caries are holes in the teeth caused by tooth decay. Decay usually occurs due to a bacterial infection that causes destruction of the hard tissues in the teeth.

Here some home remedies to protect your teeth from cavities.



CLOVE (laung)



Make a mixture of clove oil (2 teaspoons) and black pepper powder (1/4th teaspoon) for brushing teeth proper way to treat the problem of tooth cavities.

Applying clove oil with a cotton swab on the infected tooth can reduce the pain resulting from tooth cavities.


Lemon juice 


Chewing a slice of lemon along with its skin can also help in the treatment of cavities. Take a cotton clove dip in lemon juice and rub it until your teeth help in teeth cavities.


Mint leaves


Boiling a mint leaves (6 – 8) in water (2 cups). Rinsing mouth with this tonic can help in treating the problem of cavities.

Salt 



Salt can also be used to treat cavities due to its antiseptic and antibacterial properties. It can reduce inflammation, ease pain, draw out any infection and prevent growth of bacteria in the mouth.

 Mix 1/2 teaspoon of salt and a little mustard oil or lemon juice to make a paste. Massage the gums gently with this paste for a few minutes, then gargle with warm water. Repeat twice daily for a few days to kill bacteria.


Turmeric


Turmeric is used to provide respite from cavity pain. It has antibacterial as well as anti-inflammatory properties that help keep the gums healthy and prevent tooth decay due to bacterial infection.

Apply some turmeric powder on the affected teeth. Leave it on for a few minutes and then rinse well with warm water.


Indian lilac (neem)



It is very popular remedy for treating cavities. Its antibacterial properties can easily destroy cavity-causing bacteria. It helps maintain healthy and strong teeth and gums.

Rub the juice of neem leaves on the teeth and gums. Leave it on for a few minutes and then rinse it off with warm water. Follow this treatment once or twice daily.
You can also use soft neem sticks to brush your teeth.

* Regularly use an antibacterial mouthwash. This can help kill bacteria, remove plaque and prevent gum disease.

 * Rinse your mouth with warm water after every snack or drink.

* Avoid foods and drinks with refined sugar as they can create plaque.

* Drinking cranberry juice regularly also helps improve oral hygiene.

* Make sure to eat foods rich in vitamins A, D, E and K, as well as enough calcium, phosphorus, magnesium and other key minerals.

We all know that lemon is very good for our hair, skin or health. But how to use lemon is a big question. Here some home remedies for remove dandruff.

Lemon for Dry Scalp and Dandruff 


Take one lemon and cut it two halves and apply the juice directly on the scalp.
Massage it gently for few minutes don't rub hard and let it sit for another 5 – 10 minutes.
Rinse your hair with normal water. 


Lemon with coconut oil

Coconut oil has a deep moisturizing property that clears dry scalp and dandruff. Both coconut oil and lemon contain anti-bacterial properties that fight dandruff-causing fungus.

How to use 

Mix 2 tablespoons of warm coconut oil with 1 teaspoon of lemon juice and massage onto the scalp.

Leave it on for 1 hour then wrap your hair in a warm towel.
Leave for 20 minutes and wash off with a mild shampoo.


Lemon Juice with Curd and Honey 




Curd is a very good moisturizer for your scalp and hair and honey has anti – bacterial and anti – inflammatory properties.

How to use 


Mix 1 teaspoon of raw honey and 1 – 2 tablespoons of lemon juice in 1/2 cup of curd. Mix it well and apply this thoroughly on the hair.
Leave for 30 – 40 minutes before washing with mild shampoo.


Lemon Juice with Garlic Powder


Garlic is very good antibiotic property kills the bacteria on the scalp.
Mix 2 tablespoons of garlic powder with 1 tablespoon of lemon juice to make a paste.
Apply on the scalp and hair and massage it gently.
Wash with herbal shampoo and cool water after 30 minutes.

Lemon Juice with Ginger and Olive Oil



Ginger acts as an anti – fungal and anti – inflammatory. Olive oil strengthens and nourishes the scalp and hair. This combination process not only clears dandruff but also prevents its recurrence.

How to use 

Peel and blend a ginger root to get its juice.
Mix equal quantities of ginger juice, fresh lemon juice, and olive oil.
Mix it well and apply this on the scalp by massaging it gently.
Wait for about 30 – 45 minutes before washing with water.

Lemon Juice with Egg white


Egg contains proteins and nutrients that nourish the scalp to prevent dryness, itching, and inflammation. 

Whip an egg and add 1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice.
Stir it well and apply this as a hair mask. 

Leave it on for 15 – 20 minutes and then rinse your hair with water followed by mild shampoo.


Lemon with Aloe Vera


Aloe vera has anti –bacterial and anti – fungal properties that clear dandruff. 

Mix freshly extracted aloe vera and lemon juice together.

Apply this on the scalp.
If it stings, apply 1 tablespoon of yogurt or olive oil to this mix.
Leave it on for about an hour and rinse your hair with mild shampoo.

Lemon with Neem


Neem leaves are loaded with anti – bacterial, anti – fungal and anti – inflammatory properties that work well to reduce the dandruff growth.

How to use 

Blend a few neem leaves to make a fine paste.
Add the juice from half a lemon and stir well.
Spread all over the scalp and wait for 30 minutes.

Some studies have shown that oral application of neem leaf extracts reduced a patient’s insulin requirements by between 30 and 50 percent for non-keytonic, insulin fast and insulin-sensitive diabetes.
